You are cordially invited to attend a meeting of the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists, Island clean-up volunteerts, and associated organizations and individuals.We will be convening at 7 PM on Oct 18, 2018, (Thurs) at the Lake Norman Volunteer Fire Department: 1518 Brawley School Rd, Mooresville.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide updates on:

• The status and care of the islands in Lake Norman,
• The process for the removal of trash and large pieces of flotsam/jetsam in the lake,
• Identifying and tracking the highly invasive plant Hydrilla that is unfortunately spreading across large sections of Lake Norman.

For your enjoyment we also invite you to participate in the following (no charge):

• Snacks (peanuts, crackers, cheese, cookies, potato chips, candy bars, etc.)
• Drinks (water, soda, and ice tea)
• Fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries) 
• Raffle tickets for the drawing of several custom-made bird houses.
• Those LNWC island adopters who last year did not receive their Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists- Island Habitat Program t-shirt (sizes, S, M, L, XL, XXL) will be welcome to one.
