Volunteers to Plant Native Plants

Due to bad weather and soil conditions this event is being rescheduled from Saturday, November 7, to Saturday, November 14, 2015. We're getting together at Robbins Park, 17738 West Catawba Avenue, Cornelius, NC 28031, to clear weeds and plant native plants. We need volunteers, so if you are interested please contact event coordinator, Sid Smith at 704-895-5686, 256-603-2172, or grizzer2010@yahoo.com, to let him know that you are coming. We'll meet at the tennis courts and start at 1:00 pm and plan to finish up around 3:00 pm.
 
Be sure to wear work clothes, could be a little muddy, and bring a good pair of work gloves. If you have any planting tools or wheelbarrow, rake, garden shovel or fork, bring those too.
 
If the weather turns bad or our schedule changes, Sid will notify those who have signed up.
